I am considered an “out of network” provider and do not take insurance. Please check with your insurance provider for details regarding your out of network benefits, most plans offer reimbursement for a portion of each session after meeting your deductible. I provide monthly superbills that can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. Here are some questions I recommend you ask your insurance provider directly:
1. Does my policy cover out-of-network mental health providers?
2. What is my deductible and has it been met yet?
3. What percentage of my bill will be covered for services obtained by an out-of-network provider?
-
Payment is accepted in the form of credit card. Prior to your first session, you will be asked to complete intake paperwork through a secure online portal, Simple Practice. It is at this time that you will submit your credit card information to have on file. You will be charged automatically at the end of each session.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059
