Helene Schmitt (she/her)
Helene (she/her) is a bilingual AMFT offering sessions in English and French. She is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #149259), employed by Omer Harari Marriage and Family Therapy and supervised by Omer Harari, LMFT #123765. She began her studies in France before earning a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Palo Alto University. Over the years, Helene has found her passion in supporting men who feel deeply but have learned to keep their emotions hidden, couples who want to move past painful communication patterns, and expats or people from international backgrounds who feel out of place and are searching for a sense of belonging.
In working with Helene, clients can expect warmth, care, encouragement, and honesty. Sessions feel like a dialogue, where Helene acts as a co-pilot, offering insight and tools to help develop a more authentic connection with oneself and others.
Helene’s approach blends psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a method backed by research and known for being one of the most effective approaches for couples therapy.
